This is some profound quality literature. I was laughing so hard reading it, the Borders staff looked at me like they were about to call somebody to have me Baker Act-ed. And yes, I read books at Borders. You either have to have too much money, too much 'library' space at your house, or just be really odd if you're going to buy as much stuff as I just read, free, courtesy of Borders Books.
Read this when you're a) not trying to impress somebody of the opposite sex (or same, if that's your deal), b) you're not trying to augment your level of insight about history and humanity, and c) just need to have something to make you laugh till your kidney fails.
At least the first half is worth it. The rest is a mix between strange, eyebrow-furling, and possibly even depressing. If you get that vibe, just put it down. It's ok to just take the good parts. |
